Management Style is Important There are many styles of management from AB to XY that have been used over the years. In this day and age the authoritative style of management does not work unless there is an economic situation of high unemployment. Motivation or incentive management works better especially during normal times. The principles of the sustained corporation is the best form of management. With this form everybody wins for the CEO down to the most menial jobs. The number of levels of management depends on the number of staff of course as laid out by a chain of command structure. It is a well known fact that different methods of motivation will vary on different types people. Some people think only short range. Money is not the biggest motivator. Such things as security, appreciation and benefits are large contributors to motivation. Some companies use profit sharing to help motivate staff for greater efficiency and to help keep employees on their payroll longer.
